The Firm

AMP Partners S.A. is a Swiss Asset Management Firm created in 2000 by AMP Partners Luxembourg and UEB (Switzerland), a subsidiary of BNP Paribas.


In 2012, BNP Paribas’ shares in AMP Partners S.A. were acquired by the remaining shareholders as a result of BNP Paribas (Suisse) decision to exit from its minority stakes.


Today, AMP Partners S.A. is an Independent Asset Management firm that maintains business relationships with several banks in order to ensure an objective assessment of financial institutions that are best fit to cater to investors.

The Team

AMP Partners’ senior management is responsible for the overall strategy across all of our business units. Our executives are well positioned to meet the challenges of the complex and constantly changing environment in which we operate and are ultimately responsible for the allocation of resources among strategies and ensuring that AMP Partners remains focused on performance and efficiency.

Marwan Mezher Chairman

Marwan Mezher is AMP Partners’ Chairman.
Marwan has over 25 years of experience in financial engineering and derivatives across a broad range of instruments and strategies.
After a career with BNP Paribas, evolving in different functions (Treasury, Structured Derivatives, Private Banking) and countries, Marwan decided to dedicate his time to accelerate the development of AMP Partners.
Marwan has an MBA in Corporate Finance, a dual degree from Université de Paris Sorbonne and Dauphine (IAE).

Charles Nehme CEO

Charles Nehme is a founding member and partner of AMP Partners Switzerland since its inception. He is now the CEO of AMP Partners Switzerland.
He started his career in the corporate banking department of Banque Paribas Paris covering the Middle East and Africa. He then joined the private banking division of Banque Paribas as Head of the Private Banking Unit in London and later on Advisor to the Executive Board in Geneva where he was responsible for the development of wealth management in the Middle East.
Charles then worked for Banque Scandinave en Suisse as a Senior Portfolio Manager. He then joined Bank Hofmann and set up their Geneva branch.
Charles holds a degree in Economics and Finance from the Institut d’études politiques in Paris.

Paul Isaac Managing Director

Paul Isaac has been with AMP Partners since 2006 as a Senior Portfolio Manager. He manages all aspects related to Administration, Human Resources and IT.
Paul first started his career at ANZ Grindlays Bank where he became a Senior Business Development / Relationship Manager in the Middle East and Indian sub-Continent team with a mandate to acquire and manage HNW client portfolios. He then joined Bank Hofmann AG (Credit Suisse Group) as Deputy Vice President/Senior Relationship Manager with the responsibility to grow a book of HNW clients from the Middle East and Europe.
Paul holds a dual BA in Management and International Studies and a dual MA in Marketing and Computer Data Management both from Webster University in Switzerland.

Alaa El Masri Management Committee
Alternative Investments

Alaa El Masri covers special projects and alternative investments being developed by the group.
After obtaining his MBA from HEC Lausanne in Switzerland, Alaa joined La Compagnie Benjamin de Rothschild, the investment bank of the Edmond de Rothschild Group, where he was responsible for the development of the bank’s activity in sub-Saharan Africa. This position entailed working on the structuring and launch of various private equity funds, sourcing and managing different project and corporate finance mandates and screening various investment opportunities. He was also co-manager of the largest listed clean tech fund within the Edmond de Rothschild Group.

Maher Raham Management Committee
GCC & Levant

Maher Raham covers the development of the group’s business in the GCC and Levant.
Maher has more than 25 years of experience in banking having worked for Credit Suisse, ABN Amro Bank, Standard Chartered, Audi Private Bank and the Central Bank of Lebanon. He holds certifications and accreditations from international entities such as the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and the International Monetary Fund and has been awarded the Certified Wealth Management Advisor certification by the Swiss Association for Quality.
Maher holds a post graduate degree "DEA" from USEK University and a Diploma in Money and Banking from Saint Joseph University in addition to a BS in Business Computer from Lebanese American University.

Ajay Saha Management Committee
GCC

Ajay Saha covers the development of the group’s business in the GCC.
Ajay has more than 18 years of experience in consumer and private banking. He first started his career in consumer banking working for Citibank, HSBC and ABN Amro in India. He then moved to the United Arab Emirates to cover the NRI and GCC markets for BNP Paribas, UBS and Liechtensteinische Landesbank.
Ajay holds a Masters in Systems Management from India.
